Can’t wait for next week. Down to host a Pizza Party (or a few!) Would you consider starting a committee for this within your chapter? If so, I’d be interested in pushing it to the ATX chapter so I can then push it to my DST chapter 😅 I’m so obsessed with this idea!
First of all, thank you for reading! Secondly, I want to spread this ideal far and wide. So feel free to use it with your sorority, friends, family, or any other group of people you have a shared interest with.
As far as the fraternity is concerned I just became active so I dare not bring any new work to the chapter! 🤣 Fortunately, the chapter is already politically active. So my hope is that they wouldn’t mind adding this to the rotation of things they are already doing.
This is amazing. This brings me back to college days when I bribed fellow college students with pizza to come together and talk about racial micro aggressions on campus. Now … Only caveat is I need dairy free pizza!
When I first came from India to train in the US, pizzas were in every seminar and call room. As much as my primary care physician brain appreciates the healthy Whole Food Plant Based options we feed our residents, my heart still aches for pizza! My people (the residents) feel the same. This is the most elegant arguement I have read about bringing pizza and people back into health care. Bravo!
Thank you, Lalit! It just...works! I will be hosting my first People's Pizza Party in a few months. I'm looking forward to sharing the results with y'all.
Not only do I love this idea, I now have some more reading recommendations (which have all been ordered). I am one of those people who live amongst a populated people that don’t know what to do or are afraid to to because… Well, Alabama. But I’m going to share this with some groups I’m in to see if we can do something. And thank you for all you do, KJ.
Love this. Pizza + a Playbook. That's really all we need! Can't wait for next week.

I know that’s right 😂 Thank you, KJ. Can’t wait for the guide.
