Let me begin by saying: 2023 has been so good to me!
From finally starting the filming process on a PBS web series I’m hosting, to making an appearance in the award-winning show “High On the Hog”, to being called a “Food Pioneer” by Netflix—this year has been an amazing blur.
In an effort to maximize my time and efforts, I’ve made a list of a few things I’m going to be focusing my energy on next year. Now, this doesn’t mean that I won’t make times for additional opportunities that come my way, it’s just that if those opportunities don’t align with my stated goals, it’s gonna have to be a REALLY DAMN GOOD situation for me to add it to my plate.
Nor is this the entire list. Some of the things I want to do aren’t for the world to know just yet; some not at all. If one of these items was something you already committed to doing, or you have something you’re working on and don’t mind sharing with the class, please let me know!
